The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
Luke 17:20–21
The kingdom is not a destination you approach. It is the order of God, recognized within.

How to read
The words in red are the spoken words of Christ in the four Gospels. A metaphysical reading does not cancel the historical one. It asks what the saying describes in consciousness: the Father as indwelling Source, the kingdom as an interior order, faith as the mind’s agreement with that order, and the “I am” as divine life — not the private ego, but the one Life individualized.
This sits in a long contemplative line, from the early mystics through metaphysical Christianity. It is offered as a lens. The scripture is set apart, in red, so the reading never pretends to be the text itself.
