The way, the truth, and the life

I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

John 14:6 · King James Version

The way to the Source is the Christ-life itself — not a password, and not a theory about the Source.

An inner reading

These words have been used as a locked gate. Read from within, they describe how any mind actually comes to the Father. The “me” speaking is not a private personality guarding a door against the rest of humanity. It is the Christ: divine life conscious of itself. Nothing else reunites a mind with the Father, because nothing else is the Father’s own life in act.

The way is a path, not a slogan. The truth is not a stack of correct sentences; it is reality unveiled. The life is not a span of years; it is livingness. To come “by me” is to come by that nature — to lay down the claim of a life apart and walk in the same I AM that spoke. The historical person and the inner reality are not rivals in this reading. The person is where that reality stood up and spoke so the rest of us could recognize the way.
